July 7th will see the legendary (the) Melvins issuing their new Ipecac Recordings double album, ‘A Walk With Love And Death‘.
The effort features the Death disc, which is a traditional (the) Melvins album. It also includes ‘Love’, which is a soundtrack to an upcoming short film, also called A Walk With Love And Death, directed by Jesse Nieminen.
Today, you can hear a new song from the Death disc, titled “Christ Hammer“, below.
To coincide with the ambitious new release, (the) Melvins intend to undertake an equally ambitious tour. The 61 date, three-month-long tour is as an extensive run as the band has ever undertaken. Label mates Spotlights will open on all dates, which is one hell of a commitment. Get the full itinerary below.
