RKY’s (Richmond, Kentucky) Sinful Lilly are a band that’s rising like lava-hot mercury in a thermometer! The guys, Fredi Handshoe (guitar/lead vocals), Nikki Valklix (bass/vocals), and Trey Bledsoe (drums), are in the early stages of this meteoric rise but don’t be fooled.
The trio has shared a respectable, individual history in their regional music scene. Now united in Sinful Lilly… well, look out!
Mashing up some of the sleazier, raunchier influences of 80’s hard rock with their own modern groove and attitude, the band is becoming a well-established act. This summer is going to validate their presence and popularity, for sure, as the guys will share the stage on some fantastic bills. Without a doubt, anyone that sees them on these stages will immediately have found themselves a new band to champion (if they aren’t already)! Let’s break it down, shall we?
First, Sinful Lilly and Budderside will provide direct support for the highly touted L.A. Guns reunion tour at its stop here in Appalachia. The re-teamed Phil Lewis and Tracii Guns version of the classic band will surely get a run for their money on this night. This show will hit The Forum in Hazard, KY. on Friday, June 30th, 2017 (ticket info below).
Next, Sinful Lilly and Dula will hold an envied support slot for the amazing Last In Line show also at The Forum in Hazard, KY. The DIO-connected Last In Line features guitar legend Vivian Campbell (Def Leppard, Riverdogs), drum deity Vinny Appice (Black Sabbath, Heaven & Hell, Nine Chambers), bassist Phil Soussan (Ozzy Osbourne) and singer Andrew Freeman (Hurricane, Lynch Mob).
However, they’re no DIO cover band. Their full length of all-original material, ‘Heavy Crown’, is an astounding album that ably stands on its own merits. This show hits Hazard, also at The Forum, on Saturday, July 22nd.
Third, Sinful Lilly will deliver the goods, yet again, as the opening support for Winger‘s stop at, where else, The Forum in Hazard, KY. Sinful Lilly‘s own amazing musical material will be a powerful complement to the beloved Winger when the two get down on Saturday, September 23rd. (Third band possibly TBA).
If you either reside in the Southeastern Kentucky region or within a whatever mile radius, you surely won’t want to miss these incredible concerts. One of the best ways to assure your attendance is to pre-purchase your tickets ahead of time directly from the Sinful Lilly lads themselves. You can do exactly that, plus check out all things Sinful Lilly related at The Official Sinful Lilly website here.
Get out and support your local/regional music scene, wherever you are!!
