Alaska’s alternative metal/core band 36 Crazyfists are premiering a brand new track today, “Death Eater“.
The song hails from the band’s upcoming Spinefarm Records release, “Lanterns“, which is due to be released on Sept. 29th. It is their second release for the label and the follow-up to 2015’s ‘Time and Trauma’.
“Death Eater” finds 36 Crazyfists unleashing a volatile track from the start, one rife with guttural vocals and fierce double-kick drumming.
Vocalist Brock Lindow offered the following about the new song saying:
“It’s a reflection of self and the dwellings of rock bottom, discovering the tools to dig yourself out, and refusing to let yourself free fall into the abyss of hopelessness. Love, forgive, and never give in. In fact, ‘Lanterns’ really is about the fight within us all — that within us that forever refuses to sink.”
Pre-order information for the album will be revealed soon, but you will find the band pummeling audiences across the country beginning Aug. 18 in San José, California.
The group has just over a month’s worth of dates scheduled on the road with DevilDriver and supporting bands, wrapping the run up on Sept. 21 in Dallas. You can find all of the dates and locations listed below.
