For those that may not know, an Ephemeris is a table or chart that displays the positions of a particular heavenly body on a number of dates in sequence. One might also call it a calendar or an almanac, if so inclined, but in today’s case, there is a third option.
That would be this, as ‘Ephemeris‘ is the title of the new album from Reykjavík, Iceland‘s death metal extremists, Beneath.
The nine-song extravaganza of relentlessly savage, but amazingly technical, old-school influenced death metal is to be officially released through Unique Leader Records this Friday, August 18th.
Today though, Riff Relevant is providing you the grand opportunity to stream this amazing Beneath album – in full – before it is released later this week. The opus is a pummeling battery of progressive heaviness that explores myriad themes in relation to thought-provoking science fiction.
Beneath is:
Jóhann Ingi Sigurðsson – Guitar
Unnar Sigurðsson – Guitar
Magnús Halldór Pálsson – Bass
‘Ephemeris’ Tracklist:
01. Constellational Transformation
