One of the New England region’s most volatile entities, Choked Out Again, recently shared an update with us, letting us know what’s currently going on with the band.
Although they originally hail from Boston, Massachusetts, the band recently relocated to Maine. More importantly, though, Choked Out Again is tirelessly hard at work on recording their début album for release this fall.
The upcoming record, titled ‘Fat Guys Need Love Too‘, is expected to be released through Tripsquad Records later in 2017. The current recording sessions are under the auspices of Shane Frisby (Unearth, Bury Your Dead, Becoming The Archetype) and Sean Fitzpatrick (Floods, Mass Graves, Shiloh) at The Brick HitHouse in Massachusetts.
The furious foursome that fills in as Choked Out Again are Jeremy St. Peter, Shawn Callahan, Curtis Manchester, and Brandon Tardiff, and they excel at what they do. What they do is play ferociously uncompromising, metallic hardcore music with crossover elements a-plenty.
This is why the partnership between Choked Out Again and Tripsquad Records is an ideal pairing, to say the least. Tripsquad Records is the freshly realized and recently launched label of Tim McMurtrie, the current guitarist for Full Scale Riot. He’s also well-known for his work with M.O.D. (Method Of Destruction) on the albums ‘U.S.A. For M.O.D.’, ‘Rhythm Of Fear’, and ‘Loved By Thousands… Hated By Millions’.
So, you’re now caught up with what all is going on with Choked Out Again…
