The Obsessed will tour the U.S. again this fall, capitalizing on the huge embrace and critical success of their long-awaited studio return ‘Sacred‘. The headlining tour will begin September 27th in Asheville, North Carolina, and end October 27th in Baltimore, Maryland.
Direct support will be provided by Cobaltand Iron Tongue on select dates. A full list of tour dates is available near the bottom of this page, including an appearance at CAL JAM in San Bernardino, California.
In The Obsessed-related touring news, the band was also named as one of two bands, alongside Devin Townsend Project, that will provide support for Clutch‘s upcoming winter tour. Check that tour schedule separately.
Coinciding with the tour announcement, the doom legends have shared an acoustic performance of “On So Long” recorded live at the Gibson Guitar Recording Studio in New York City. The song is a bonus track off the band’s recently issued ‘Sacred’ full-length album.
‘Sacred’ is out now on Relapse Records on CD, LP, deluxe 2xLP, and digital formats. Physical orders and bundles are available via Relapse.com and digital downloads can be ordered via Bandcamp, where the record can also be streamed in full.
