Well, friends.. .we are back with the resuming of our visual series! Our friends from The Yellowhammer State, Alabama‘s Ember, have wrapped the recording at Ledbelly Sound Studio portion of the documentary video series. That means starting tonight, we are going to get a fresh, new look at some other things connected to it.
While our atmospheric-tinged doom musicians from the South absorb the demos from their time in the studio, life goes on in other aspects. First, Erik Bigelow breaks down some details of the ongoing contests Ember has been running of late. In one clip, we are apprised of the Limited Edition Box Sets (ten sets in total) and what it takes to be entered to win one.
We are also treated to being present for some glimpses of a recent Ember live performance show where Erik (drums), vocalist Crystal Bigelow, guitarist Craig Shadix, and bassist Jeremy Allen take the stage. As most know, that’s where the music of the ‘271‘ EP is road tested, so to speak.
Another interesting portion of tonight’s segment is the detailed breakdown from Erik working on the artwork for the EP. We get a bird’s-eye view of several of the applications being utilized by the band to create the art and visual packaging of the upcoming release as well.
There, you are all caught up as to where tonight’s latest insights will take us as our visual journey now continues. If you missed any of the previous Episodes then you can hit the links below and check those videos out too. Then, make sure to return for the next segment of the Ember ‘271’ EP Recording In-Studio Visual Series, coming soon!
