Louisville, Kentucky‘s Fotocrime have returned with news of a new EP, “Always Night“, that they’ll be releasing soon. If you are not yet familiar with Fotocrime then just know it is the project begun by Ryan Patterson, who fronted post-hardcore act Coliseum for over a decade.
Now know that Fotocrime is nothing like Patterson’s previous musical endeavors, not in the least. No, Fotocrime hearkens back to the age of New Wave and dark Gothic or Alternative Rock. Its sound is derived from Ryan’s guitar and vocals, bassist Shelley Anderson, guitarist Nick Thieneman, and the trio’s drum machine, lovingly named “Mother”.
Just check out the first single “Duplicate Days” from the new ‘Always Night‘ EP, below. The upcoming EP is being released through Golden Antenna Records, it is the follow up to this year’s debut from Fotocrime, ‘Always Hell’.
‘Always Night‘ is available for pre-order now at Golden Antenna.
