New Jersey’s Symetria is preparing to release their new self-titled album for the burgeoning Tripsquad Records label. The Garden State locale that brought us Method Of Destruction (M.O.D.), TT Quick, Overkill, and the legendary metal label Megaforce Records is the perfect place for these events too. See, Tripsquad Records is the start-up label of Tim McMurtie, who produced the upcoming Symetria effort (along with Eric Rachel) and was himself once the guitarist for M.O.D.
Those connections and ties are paramount factors as to what makes the new Symetria album of such interest. The band channels thoroughly solid elements of classic old-school metal influences in their music. Vince Santonastaso (vocals), Kevin Cust (guitar), Blair Smith (drums), Fernando Carerra (bass), and James Soto (guitar) have a chemistry that delivers the goods without restraint.
Symetria has been garnering intensifying attention and it has helped them to quickly rise from among the ranks of the current metal underground. Their self-titled record is going to accelerate that ascent and you can hear it via the Soundcloud embed here. It will be released through Tripsquad Records on September 29th, 2017!
Symetria will be providing support for the Easton, PA. stop of the Metal Alliance Tour 2017 with Overkill, Crowbar, Havok, Invidia, and War For The Crown.
