There is nothing like finding fantastically kick-ass music that is FREE for you to obtain. That is almost always the second premise of Riot’s Revelation, the first and foremost being to make you aware of said kick-ass music. Then the fact that it requires no expense to procure is equally paramount.
That is exactly what we find with the latest segment of this ongoing series. First, we have the Barcelona, Spain-based two-man entity known as Ground. The pair in the midst of this abrasively heavy music is guitarist/ vocalist Marcos Cordo and drummer Isaac Malagón. What they create is some intensely powerful post-hardcore sludge and aggressive doom on their brand new 10-song full-length, ‘I‘.
‘I‘ was recorded and mixed by Héctor Baeza at Estudio Aqueron and mastered by Brad Boatright at Audiosiege just this year. Even better, it is streaming via Bandcamp embed below and even better still, it is available as a NYP (Name Your Price) item.
