My newest Riot’s Revelation segment casts its spotlight on a fantastic compilation, ‘No Legacy – Volume One‘. The collection of bands assembled on the offering is a veritable Best Of… from the state of California’s finest underground acts.

Before we get to the specific particulars of the LP – like the fact it’s limited to 500 copies pressed on 180-gram vinyl – let’s take a look at these bands, shall we? Each is named below, and together they showcase a genre-obliterating mash of metal, hard rock, sludge, doom, punk, and more in their shared repertoire. You have:
