One of the most prolific acts in rock and roll, one that is such in both the audio and visual realm, have announced their first North American tour in over thirty years. Jeff Lynne’s ELO (Electric Light Orchestra) will hit the U.S. and Canadian continent with ten shows, starting in Oakland, CA at Oracle Arena before wrapping in Philadelphia, PA at Wells Fargo Center. Jeff Lynne‘s last extensive U.S. tour with ELO was in 1981. Known now, and then, as one of the most iconic forces in all of music history, Jeff Lynne’s ELO has spent the last two years with a critically acclaimed and chart-topping album, a sold-out run of U.K. and European shows, as well as an induction into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame.
This current tour announcement comes just ahead of this Friday’s release of the live concert CD/DVD, ‘Wembley Or Bust’, which will give fans a glimpse into the extraordinary ELO live experience that had critics in the UK raving with acclaim.
American Express Card Members can purchase their tickets before the general public beginning Wednesday, November 15th at 10:00 AM, local time through Thursday, November 16th at 10:00 PM, local time. The Live Nation pre-sale begins Thursday, November 16th and public on-sale begins Friday, November 17th starting at 10:00 AM, local time with tickets available at Ticketmaster.com.
All pre-orders of ‘Wembley Or Bust’ made at Jeff Lynne’s ELO Official U.S. Store prior to 4:00 PM, EST on November 14th are eligible to receive a ticket presale code for 2018 U.S. tour dates. Codes can be used during the presale window for access to tickets before the general public on-sale. One (1) code is granted per customer and allows access to purchase up to four (4) tickets. Tickets will be available while supplies last and presale codes do not guarantee inventory.

As mentioned above, Jeff Lynne’s ELO will release a live CD/DVD of their concert at Wembley Stadium in June. Titled ‘Wembley Or Bust’ and directed by Paul Dugdale, the release will be available in multiple formats on November 17th via Sony Music. Watch a video trailer below.
The film includes performances of many of the most beloved songs ever recorded, from vintage ELO classics like “Mr. Blue Sky,” “Livin’ Thing” and “Evil Woman“‘ to “Do Ya” from Lynne’s days with The Move, “Handle With Care” which he recorded with the Traveling Wilburys, right through to “When I Was A Boy” from his latest ELO masterpiece, ‘Alone In The Universe’.
