A new leg of the high-turnout Soulfly tour – they’re playing Nailbomb‘s essential 1994 release, ‘Point Blank‘, in its entirety – has been announced.
It will launch in Las Vegas, NV near the end of February and run for nearly a month, winding down in Syracuse, NY the third week of March. Nailbomb was a punk-fused industrial metal project that united Soulfly’s Max Cavalera with Fudge Tunnel’s Alex Newport.
The project released one album for Roadrunner Records (‘Point Blank‘) and played one live performance before disbanding the next year. That performance, at 1995’s Dynamo Open Air Festival in The Netherlands, also resulted in a live release that year also, ‘Proud To Commit Commercial Suicide’.
Support on the upcoming trek will be provided by none other than the extremely abrasive TODAY IS THE DAY (except the last two stops) along with Lody Kong and Uncured.
