Vancouver is the place providing the doom/sludge world its latest band worthy of attention, Empress.
The band itself is a relatively young one, but that does not mean there are any amateur shortcomings in their music whatsoever. This will undoubtedly be reinforced when they release their five-song ‘Reminiscence‘ EP on CD and digital download on February 12th.

The trio in Empress wrote and recorded those tracks within two months of the band’s formation. With this EP, Empress is sure to impress all fans of gargantuan groove-driven, over-amped sludge heaviness.
