Sweden’s punk/thrash crossover Negative Self has premiered a new official video, the NSFW (due to profanity) “Underneath The Wave“.
The song comes off the band’s new, upcoming album release, ‘Control The Fear‘ which will be out March 16th via BDHW Records. Once again, the band will undoubtedly draw comparisons to Suicidal Tendencies, as they did on their 2015 S/T outing, due to their overall sound and imagery.
Of course, that is not a bad thing, but make no mistake, Negative Self is a modern, hungry act and well on their way to defining themselves on their own merits.
“Underneath The Wave” features some radical skateboarding and was made in unison with help from Skull Boardshop. It features their team riders Björn Tegnelund and Anders Almgren and they, along with song and visualizer, kick-ass throughout.
