The Necromancers have been diligently writing the follow-up to its August 2017 release ‘Servants Of The Salem Girl‘ on Ripple Music. Today we bring you an exclusive premiere of the new Official Video for the “Salem Girl Pt. 1″ track, plus a run of EU Tour and Festival dates coming this Spring.
Poitiers, France’s The Necromancers consists of Tom (vocals, guitar), Rob (lead guitar), Simon (bass), and Ben (drums), and their début album on Ripple Music came seemingly from nowhere right to the forefront of most music reviewers lists last August. Currently preparing the new material to hit the studio and record their second release on Ripple Music, they took a break to create a new Official Video for “Salem Girl Pt. 1″.
The video was directed and edited by Tom Cornière-David, filmed by Pauline Foeillet, and stars Alexandre Debelloir, Julian Santus, Marie Besiat, Jany Pacaud, Antoine Alonso, and Andolin Vermillet. We have some details from the band:
“While we’re currently working on our next album, it seemed very important to us to let the Salem Girl finish her story and close this chapter the same way it began: with a homemade music video inspired by old pulp fictions and horror movies, on which we could work with friends.
It’s been a real pleasure for us to have our brothers from Vaderetro acting in this one for instance. ”Salem Girl Pt.1′ is the first track off the album and it deserved a video, especially because it may be the last one we do to promote ‘Servants of the Salem Girl’. It’s kind of the end of the story and the beginning of another one.”
Vaderetro Studio also was involved in the gorgeous illustrative artwork for the cover of ‘Servants Of The Salem Girl’. Before moving to the next step to enter the studio to record the next album, The Necromancers will hit the European roads this spring, heading to Desertfest Berlin and London, as well as Spain for the very first time!
