Hot on the heels of this week’s announcement of the re-issue of Flotsam & Jetsam’s 1986 début (details), Metal Blade Records will also re-issue another series of classics.
Swedish doom icons COUNT RAVEN formed in 1989 and quickly made waves in the musical underground. Those waves were unquestionably reinforced with their 1990 début ‘Storm Warning’ and 1992’s landmark, ‘Destruction Of The Void’. Both albums now hold spots of immense reverence with the doom aficionados of the world but have been quite hard to find for years now.
That will soon end, as Metal Blade announces a new agreement with the Swedish doom metal legends COUNT RAVEN to release their first four albums on vinyl. Three of them will be available on vinyl for the first time.
The ‘Storm Warning’ vinyl has been out of print for ages, while ‘Destruction Of The Void’ has not yet been available on vinyl at all. Both have been remastered by Patrick W. Engel for the best sound quality possible and include bonus tracks (from the CD reissues), as well as posters.
See below for an overview of vinyl versions. Pre-order your copies now at Indie Merch, EMP, or at the Metal Blade eBay store. Both albums are also available on all digital platforms.
