One of my favorite sludge / post-metal bands to surface in 2017, New Jersey’s KOLOSSOR, will release its first full-length album next month.
‘Crown Of Horns‘ will arrive from Sludgelord Records on April 6th, it was recorded at Rev X Productions, Millville, New Jersey and produced by KOLOSSOR. Engineered, mixed, and mastered by Jerry Arsenault and featuring artwork by Jill Colbert at Manfish Inc.
“Wall Of Sleep“, a new song from the album, is available for streaming now. The new record does feature the three songs released on the band’s 2017 self-titled EP, which was reviewed HERE and also made my own ‘Best Albums Of 2017’ list.
“Wall Of Sleep” reveals a major progression in the overall KOLOSSOR sound, it possesses elements of industrial metal and alternative rock. One of the songs from the EP included on ‘Crown Of Horns’, “Pillars“, is also streaming in the Bandcamp embed.
Pre-order for ‘Crown Of Horns‘ from KOLOSSOR is active now at THIS LOCATION.
KOLOSSOR is:
Greg Frisenda – Lead Vocals, Guitars
Jay Barringer – Bass, Backing Vocals
Jerry Arsenault – Drums, Percussion, Sounds
