Swedish folk-infused progressive rockers Hällas have just premiered their new official video, “Astral Seer“.
The song is a retro-riveted track from the band’s phenomenal 2017 album, ‘Excerpts From A Future Past’, released via The Sign Records. The record has garnered immense critical acclaim, while this video provides the ideal insight into Hällas‘ ability to transmit classic prog rock vibes with aplomb.
From the clip’s VHS-looking film stock to the pace of the editing, director/ creator Philipp M. Bindarra has crafted an incredible piece of ocular artwork. It really possesses the ability to transport the observer over the recesses of time straight to the 1970s.
‘Excerpts From A Future Past’ was released in October of 2017 and is available for streaming and purchase at Bandcamp HERE.
