Minneapolis’ most brutal of sludge mongers, NO FUNERAL, are preparing to re-release its ‘Mankind Is Carrion, Fit For Nothing‘ EP as a limited edition vinyl 7″.
Originally issued in December of 2017 in a limited Cassette format, ‘Mankind Is Carrion, Fit For Nothing‘ seven-inch is a co-release with Germany’s Fucking Kill Records and Live Fast Die Recordings. It is limited to 250 copies – 100 red vinyl and 150 black vinyl.
NO FUNERAL is the musical equivalent of misanthropic nihilism, the total hatred and loathing of modern society, translated to music meant to destroy it all. With an abrasive sludge discharge, NO FUNERAL exudes pure sonic misery within their song-structured output.
Pre-order is currently sold out but there will be copies available on the NO FUNERAL Bandcamp page [HERE] on May 12th. A cassette re-release is also in the works from Smutdealer Records and includes the original Cassette’s cover of Black Flag’s “My War” (stream) that is not on the vinyl. Pre-order for it begins May 1st at THIS LOCATION.
NO FUNERAL will embark upon some live dates soon, including some shows with Come To Grief and Fistula. Here are the band’s upcoming live atrocities:
