CHRCH, the unique, Sacramento-based, psychedelic doom band, will issue their second full-length album this Friday.
‘Light Will Consume Us All‘ arrives from Neurot Recordings on May 11th, but we have it today streaming in full for you. Be warned, the sonic contents of the album are some of the bleakest, most lethal, and oppressive doom you may ever hear (I know, too bold, right?). Suffice to say that it is beyond merely heavy, my friends.
It consists of three songs, ranging between 9 and 20 minutes in length, that are ultimately both alarming and jarring. Laden with layers of intricate melodies, thunderous rhythms, gargantuan riffs, and a powerful, supernatural vocal presence, CHRCH delivers a transformative recording.
CHRCH‘s ‘Light Will Consume Us All’ was recorded, mixed, and mastered by Patrick Hills at Earthtone Studios in Rocklin, California. It will see release on CD, vinyl, and digital formats with pre-order active now at THIS LOCATION.
