Harbingers of USHC, Phoenix’s American Standards, have just released a new single titled “Weep“, with an accompanying official video too.
If the name sounds familiar, it may be due to Halsey reviewing their 2017 release, ‘Anti-Melody’ [HERE]. Now the band is unleashing a fierce salvo of amplified aggression with this new tune, one full of the dissonant guitars and odd time signatures American Standards are so well-liked for.
It isn’t clear at this time whether “Weep” is the precursor for an upcoming album from the band or just a stand-alone single. It doesn’t really matter either, just dive right into the song headfirst and let the damn chips fall where they may.
American Standards have a couple of upcoming events planned, catch the band live at the following:
June 08 – Tempe, AZ @ FiftyOne West w/ Genesis Company, Lo’ There, Trust Your Gut, Strelitzia, Ghost Mother [INFO]
June 30 – Flagstaff, AZ @ The Green Room w/ Silent Planet, Comrades, Dropout Kings, Outsiders [INFO]
