Have you missed this or what? It has been a while since I’ve churned out a new Riot’s Revelation segment so here we are.
Today’s offering comes to us from the western Canadian festival that just doesn’t celebrate heavy metal, but embraces the power of women in metal: METALOCALYPSTICK FEST!
The 2018 edition of the festival will be happening in Lone Butte, B.C. at the Lone Butte Community Center during Canada Day weekend, June 30th and July 1st. It will once again host a gathering for some of underground metal’s best bands, ones containing women. More on that in a moment.
METALOCALYPSTICK has compiled 14 killer bands, with one song from each, on the new NYP (Name Your Price) release, “Metal Queens Vol. 2“. It is streaming below and includes these bands:

In addition to the festival celebrating women in metal, METALOCALYPSTICK FEST gives back to the community by being a non-profit organization dedicated to raising funds and donating 100% of proceeds to local charities Girls Rock Camp, Vancouver Rape Relief, and the Vancouver Women’s Shelter.
