Philadelphia’s power metal / melodic thrash powerhouse CORNERS OF SANCTUARY digitally released its fifth full-length studio album, ‘The Galloping Hordes‘, in May.
The band issued the new release via Germany’s Killer Metal Records, and it is a perfect match. CORNERS OF SANCTUARY‘s style of aggressive metal is driven by searing guitars, rapid-fire rhythms, and dynamic vocals. Check out the “The Galloping Hordes” lyric video below for confirmation of this.

In C.O.S. related news, the band has launched a crowdfunding platform [HERE] to help financially assist the band in some endeavors, including upcoming live runs in the U.S. and Europe (all listed below). Special COS NATION merchandise packages and personal equipment used by the band on recent tours will be available to obtain.
The physical CD version of ‘The Galloping Hordes0′ is set to be released this summer via Killer Metal Records label to coincide with the band’s debut mini trip to Europe.
To celebrate the new album’s digital release, the band is also making available a newly re-mastered collection of C.O.S. classics titled, ‘Finding Sanctuary’. ‘Finding Sanctuary’ will be released this month on CD format as well as on a limited run of cassette tapes available only at the band’s live performances.
Bassist James Pera comments: “This collection of songs has gotten a serious makeover. We wanted to bring things up to speed, so a lot of sections were re-recorded and even re-written. A total remix was done and Bill Metoyer gave the tracks his magical mastering touch.”
