In an unexpected but much-appreciated move, the band formerly known as ISIS has announced a one-time live reunion at the upcoming The Life And Art Of Caleb Scofield L.A. Benefit.
For the first time since 2010, Aaron Turner, Michael Gallagher, Jeff Caxide, Bryant Clifford Meyer, and Aaron Harris will take the stage as “CELESTIAL“. It’s the title of their 2000 début album and the band has been apprehensive about the Isis name since its adoption by the terrorist entity. Also set to perform at The Wiltern in Los Angeles, CA on October 13th are CAVE-IN, PELICAN, OLD MAN GLOOM, and 27.
All of the bands have connections to musician Caleb Scofield, who was tragically killed in an automobile accident in March. He left behind a wife and two children who bands, friends, and fans have rallied behind to support throughout this tough loss.
Tickets will go on sale this Thursday, June 14th, at 10 AM PST for The Life And Art Of Caleb Scofield L.A. Benefit HERE. 100% of the proceeds will go directly to Caleb’s surviving family.
