Québec’s Délétère have just released their conceptually-themed black metal opus ‘De Horae Leprae‘ via Sepulchral Productions on June 15th.
The hour-plus album elaborates further on lyrical and musical ideas from their original 2012 demo, ‘Inopia et Morbo’. That recording introduced listeners to the characters Centipèdes and Teredinis, now, ‘De Horae Leprae‘ further builds upon their story.
This newest installment to the tale reveals how the leper Teredinis becomes a prophet of Centipèdes, the human incarnation of The Plague. While these latest events in their story are being presented, it is done so within a setting of scathingly malevolent black metal extremity.
