The remarkable, multi-genre melding duo of stoner doom and more, YEAR OF THE COBRA, have some newly unveiled news items to share.
First, the Seattle-based pair – Amy Tung Barrysmith (vocals/bass) and Jon Barrysmith (drums) – have signed with Prophecy Productions. They are currently working on new material with legendary engineer / producer Jack Endino (Nirvana, Tad, Soundgarden) for an expected 2019 full-length album release.
Second, later this month (July), YEAR OF THE COBRA will embark upon a U.S. touring trek and also just confirmed to play the inaugural Prophecy Fest USA, taking place this November at Brooklyn, N.Y.’s Knitting Factory.
