OBITUARY Offering S/T & Live EP Vinyl Formats; EU. Tour w/ SLAYER, ANTHRAX, LAMB OF GOD

Legendary Floridian death metal pioneers OBITUARY are sharing news today about a pair of its releases receiving vinyl LP pressings.

The band’s 2017 self-titled, full-length outing ‘Obituary’ will see a vinyl re-issue release, featuring two bonus tracks not included on the original pressing, as well as alternate artwork.

Along with it, OBITUARY will release the first-ever, official vinyl pressing of the ‘Ten Thousand Ways To Die’ EP, featuring two studio tracks and live recordings of twelve classic favorites from the band’s storied catalog, as recorded on their 2015 world tour.

These limited edition vinyl offerings are due out August 31st from Relapse Records and pre-order is active now at THIS LOCATION.

 

 

On the touring front, OBITUARY begins its headlining Summer European Tour next week (July 26) at Metal Days Festival. The brief tour ends on August 2nd at Rockstadt Extreme Festival, yet OBITUARY will return to Europe in November alongside SLAYER, ANTHRAX, & LAMB OF GOD for a 24-date tour.

OBITUARY will also perform on Day 2 (Sept. 2) of the upcoming HEAVY MOUNTAIN Festival in Asheville, N.C., alongside HIGH ON FIRE, BLACK TUSK, INTER ARMA, TEMPTATIONS WINGS, and more. You can find info about the fest HERE.
