Dissonance Productions released the long-awaited album from Steve Grimmett‘s GRIM REAPER, entitled ‘Walking In The Shadows‘ almost two years ago. It was the band‘s first new recording since 1987‘s ‘Rock You To Hell’.
In the time since its release, Steve Grimmett has undergone personal challenges that culminated in a partial leg amputation while on tour last year in Ecuador. The amputation at the time – done in an attempt to stem an aggressive infection – threatened to possibly sideline Steve and his version of the beloved Grim Reaper indefinitely.
Refusing to be forced out against his will from the live realm of heavy metal, Steve accepted these challenges head-on. Eventually, he would get himself back up, and now he’s ready to get back out on the road with his band.
As part of his triumphant return and rehabilitation, Steve Grimmett’s GRIM REAPER announces they will tour North America, on a trek starting in New Hampshire on September 27. The tour will remain on the road for nearly a month, eventually wrapping up with a two-night stint at The Whisky A Go Go in Los Angeles. Here’s the itinerary:
