Finland’s alternative/noise rock band THROAT released their new album ‘Bareback‘ via Svart Records this past Friday, August 31st.
The anxiously awaited follow-up to the band’s 2013 début ‘Manhole’ finds the THROAT crew heading further into 90s influences. The results are phenomenal too, channeling vibes of everything from Faith No More to Ministry, but doing so with a modern freshness.
Guitarist/vocalist Jukka Mattila recently commented:
“On Bareback we decided to ditch all the usual trappings of noise rock and focus on writing the best songs possible, no matter if they fit some specific genre or not.
“It’s still shouty and noisy guitar rock, but I think we managed to make it diverse enough to remain interesting over time.“
Riff Relevant is excited to share a stream of THROAT‘s ‘Bareback‘ here, while it is currently available to purchase at this LINK.
