Marty Friedman, the legendary guitarist that made his bones in such acts as Cacophony (with the equally legendary Jason Becker) and Megadeth in years past, announces upcoming U.S. touring plans for 2019.
The trek has been dubbed the “One Bad M.F. – Live In The USA” run, as it is in support of his new live album release, ‘One Bad M.F. Live!!’, which was just issued from Prosthetic Records last week. The tour begins January 23, 2019, in San Diego and wraps February 24th in Baltimore, with IMMORTAL GUARDIAN providing direct support.
Friedman had the following to say about these upcoming plans:
“This tour will bring upon an avalanche of emotion and aggression, tears of joy, and an unhealthy dose of positive vibes from Tokyo!”
He goes on to speak about the trio of musicians that will make up his live touring band, bassist Kiyoshi, guitarist Jordan Ziff, and drummer Chargeeee:
“My band outshines me every night. You will fall in love with Kiyoshi’s stage persona and her playing. I have never seen or heard a bassist like her. Jordan [Ziff] follows in a well-documented tradition of mine, of only playing with super guitarists. Chargeeee will have you laughing as he seems to be straight off The Muppets, while effortlessly bashing through some quite complex drumming.”
Meet & Greet Experience VIP packages will be available beginning Friday, October 26th, and will include one ticket to the show, meet and greet before the show, guitar pick pack, VIP lanyard, autographs, and vault CDs. Visit Friedman’s official website HERE for purchase information and details.
