New York-based duo of crushing, apocalyptic doom heaviness, WITCHKISS, unveil the schedule for an eastern U.S. tour set for this spring.
The trek will be a continuation of live support for their latest release, 2018’s ‘The Austere Curtains Of Our Eyes‘, and will see WITCHKISS sharing stages with such acts as Castle and Backwoods Payback, among others. One of the dates is a set at this year’s New England Stoner & Doom Festival 2, sponsored in part by Riff Relevant.
The band comments:
“This Spring, as we emerge from our winter riff writing hibernation, we will be hitting the road with some new songs and a new bassist as well. We will be playing some killer shows with our friends in CASTLE, BACKWOODS PAYBACK, SHADOW WITCH, CLAMFIGHT and YATRA along with a slew of other bands that were looking forward to jamming with for the first time also!
Along this run we will be hitting a bunch of rad places we’ve played already, new spots in DC, NH, RI and N.Y. and a stop at the New England Stoner & Doom Fest! We are Beyond Stoked! Hope to see you in the Spring!”
From these revelations, it sounds like WITCHKISS – Amber Burns (drums and vocals) and Scott Prater (guitar and vocals) – shall have a new contributor providing the low-end. Anthony DiBlasi was bassist upon the band’s ‘The Austere Curtains Of Our Eyes‘ release, streaming here… while the tour itinerary is listed below.
