From HelL.A., California, the city of fallen angels, comes the high octane metal of gritty, sonic shitkickers AGAINST THE GRAVE via their new video for début single, “Killing Us Slowly“.
Our first full introduction to the band born out of the ashes of acts Final Drive and Media Solution, AGAINST THE GRAVE is a raucous, no-holds-barred band. Vocalist Jordan Gaw, guitarist Andrea Martis, bassist Jay DOT CA, lead guitarist Denis Sherif, and drummer Ethan Harb, are simply out for blood on this track. Permeated with unrestrained aggression and dominated by an all-out groove, “Killing Us Slowly” is a vicious number that will have you hitting “repeat” over and over.
Accompanied by an official video directed, shot, and edited by Nathan “Karma“ Cox (Monster Magnet, Seether, Airbourne), the song hearkens back to early works from bands like Pantera and Lamb Of God. Bassist Jay DOT CA shared the following revelations about the song, saying:
“This video was a lot of fun to make, especially with Nathan Cox at the helm!! We’ve worked with him in the past & his vision & final product is always top shelf. We had a day of sun, fun, beer, cool cars & all the homies came out to hang & help any way they could. Definitely one of the most enjoyable video shoots we’ve ever done!!”
