Philadelphia’s fuzz-infused, heavy psych-rock band ECSTATIC VISION announces the release of their new album, ‘For The Masses‘, on September 20th via Heavy Psych Sounds Records.
The highly anticipated follow-up to 2017’s ‘Raw Rock Fury‘ and 2015’s ‘Sonic Praise‘ was recorded at Retro City Studios in Philadelphia with Joe Boldizar. Mixed and mastered by Tim Green (Earthless, Sebadoh, Melvins) in Grass Valley, CA. ‘For The Masses‘ is more than just a title… it is an assurance to fans.
The music of ECSTATIC VISION is a hybrid blend of rich, synth enhanced psychedelia with funk vibes, flavors of krautrock, and acid punk garage rock. ‘For The Masses‘ from ECSTATIC VISION will be released September 20th through Heavy Psych Sounds. The band will be on tour at the time supporting legendary singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and founding member of Kyuss, BRANT BJORK.
The upcoming BRANT BJORK North American headline tour, with support from ECSTATIC VISION, launches September 12th in St. Louis, MO, runs up the east coast over the following three weeks, then will conclude September 28th in Milwaukee, WI.
After the trek with Bjork, ECSTATIC VISION will head to Europe for their own tour run, including stops at the Keep It Low and Heavy Psych Sounds festivals, this October. Find all of the band’s upcoming live appearances listed below.
