Atlanta, Georgia’s melodic groove and blackened thrash metal outfit CLOAK reveal they will release a new album, ‘The Burning Dawn‘, via Season Of Mist on October 25th.
The news is accompanied by varied details related to the record including the Nightjar Illustration (Adam Burke)-created artwork, album details, and the unveiling of a new official video.
The video is for the track “Tempter’s Call“, the first single to be shared from the upcoming release. It presents CLOAK – Scott Taysom (vocals and guitar), Sean Bruneau (drums ), Max Brigham (guitar), and Billy Robinson (bass) – doing that which they do best, rendering dark aural heaviness laced with enticing melody.

Engineered and mixed by CJ Ridings, and mastered by Brad Boatright at Audiosiege, ‘The Burning Dawn‘ is the follow-up to the band’s full-length début, 2017’s ‘To Venomous Depths‘. CLOAK shares more about the latest album in the following comment:
“We have spent the last two years meticulously crafting our new album that we have come to name ‘The Burning Dawn’. This process has changed us by giving way to a very different representation of our art, one that this album embodies completely.
