The formerly “Virally Affected” weekly roundup of bands is now the “Hearkened Heap.” I enjoy alliteration, get over it. Silly name, but serious fun. We may not be able to catch live music in person yet, but we can still bring you some heavy while we’re waiting.

We receive a bucket of daily emails about new music and rarely have enough time to cover each one. This is a quick list of bands to check out, many of whom have new music and I’ll throw in some older albums you may have missed or forgotten about.
