This random roundup of bands is the Hearkened Heap. Alliteration is a lovely thing. Silly name, serious fun. We receive a bucket of emails every day about new music and rarely have enough time to cover them all. This is a handful of random heavy bands to check out, all along the genre spectrum.

Many have shiny new music releases here, but I’ll also throw in some older albums you may have missed or forgotten about. We may not be able to catch live music in person yet, but we can still bring you some heavy while we’re waiting.
